This tank is smaller (1.5 gallon vs 2.4) and more expensive, but might fit better. Slightly different mount style.
It’s about as wide as the seat and only 16” long.
The backbone is about 35”. The seat is 18” long but can hang off the back a bit. This length of gas tank gives some wiggle room.

You could "Frisco style" that tank and use less linear space on your spine.

Was watching one of my favorite YouTube programs and saw Cletus put a sidecar on a motorcycle and was wondering why people don’t use side car bodies for GoKarts. Probably cause they are expensive and maybe rare?

Ran out of wire but was able to get a few tacks in.
~ 4-7/8” bolt spacing

I've never used flux core. Looks like you could use a bit more heat. What controls do you have on that welder? Show the interface.
Also was that the wire that came with the machine? I've heard it's crap. But now that you can get a new roll it might improve the quality.
Have you tried a destructive test. Weld two peices at a right angle. Then try to break it with a BFH.

Voltage setting is only “MIN” or “MAX”
Max is like 90 AMPs I guess?
Wire speed setting is 1 - 10
Been using Lincoln Innershield 0.030” NR-211 Multiple Pass.
No hammer testing yet.
Maybe for a tack weld, turn wire speed down from 8 to 5 and hold it there for like 5 seconds instead of 3 or whatever I was doing?
