Ohhh, ya mean Youtube.
That's all right, I'm not too focused on becoming a major Youtube star, but I mostly just wanna fill the void where there aren't a ton of go kart videos on Youtube.
P.S - I saw your video where you and your friend were riding the Thunderturd and the ATV in the parking lot, and that was EPIC when he leaned the ATV!

When I get my kart running, it'll be time to terrorize the neighborhood! :roflol:
But when I put a header on, that'll probably end, since I know the neighbors won't like it.
One in particular is a jerk.
I was walking the dogs and I walked a little way up someone's driveway to check out a pressure washer with a Briggs 5 hp Industrial Plus flathead on it.
The jerk(who was across the street coming out of his front door):
"HEY! You don't go on other people's property(paraphrasing) BLABLABLABLA!"
I wasn't snooping around the windows or anything, my hands were behind my back, and I was looking from a distance.
I'm confident that I didn't do anything wrong.
Jerk.

Yeah, once it's modified I won't be going around the neighborhood.
My church has a nice big parking lot that I'll use for high speed stuff, and I know my bishop well.
The nice thing about the parking lot, is that most of the week, it's empty, and also, I've already laid out a track, for when I race fellow church members.
We'll have a time trial, a normal slug-out race, and a DRAG RACE!
There's a nice straight area on the lot that I've already planned to be the dragstrip.
The other people I'm gonna race have a race kart, and I think they said they have a Predator 212. They say they spent a lot of money for a good engine, so for all I know, they've got a stage 4, turbo 212! I hope not, because then I won't stand a chance! And they've got a race kart frame. :ack2:
But on the positive side, I know two people in ANOTHER ward that have homebuilt, from scratch, karts. Them, I can probably beat.
Oh, wait the homebuilt ones have Predators! The race kart, they said they spent like, more than $1000 on theirs and they said they got a nice racing engine!!
But we'll see, we'll see.

Update: Rolling Chassis!

Yup, that's right! I've got a rolling kart!
The engine is still dismounted and in need of a reassembled starter, but I fixed the rolling problems!
The first one I fixed was the misaligned sprocket(see last update), and just today, I got the frozen wheel bearing off!
It had been hit with PB Blaster several weeks ago, and it just sat.
I got my dad's three jaw pullers, but the jaws were too short to reach from the end of the spindle.
So I put some more Blaster on it and started wiggling it with my hands.
Lo and behold, off it came! :wai::wai::wai::2guns::2guns:
I put it back into the wheel hub, banging in the outer race with the end of dad's ratchet. Yes, I slightly damaged the outer race, but almost all the wheel bearings feel/sound bad anyway.
As I've said before, I'm just getting it barely runnin', Texas redneck style, to take it to Pate Swap Meet to pick up ideas and parts.
Again, no pics, but look out for my next Kartssource video, I will include the footage!

Update: Almost Runner! | Carb Problems

Starter is finally put together(albeit with a little short rope), but the carb is coming back to haunt me.
When I got the kart, the carb had a nasty habit of leaking, and even after putting in new gaskets and a new carb float, it still haunts me. :ack2:

Update: IT LIVES!!! | Tuning Problems

It RUNS! After drying out the carb overnight after last night's gasoline swimming pool, and checking the needed functions(compression, gas, air, and spark), I cranked it up, and after a few pulls, it started up! :wai:
There's something wrong with the AFR(air fuel mixture), because it either idles too high, or it dies. I'll start a thread on that if I can't figure it out.
Also, it's not a smoker! I think the internals are a-ok! :wai:
I will be posting some more Kartssource videos soon, so look out!

Nice video man!

May I make one suggestion, and that is to turn your phone sideways when you record. Lots of people get annoyed with vertical and don't even watch the video when it's that way.

:p
Yeah, I noticed that...
It's actually my mom's phone, so yeah. :D
I Want to use my Nikon point-and-shoot, but I dropped it awhile back and it busted the battery case latch.
So I have to rely on duct tape to hold it closed. Otherwise, it's a great camera!
I'll probably get a roll of Gorilla tape just for the purpose.
Eventually, I'm gonna get an action cam(knock off GoPro), off ebay, since I found one with great ratings and it's only $40! With accessories!
So the next few videos will probably be phone format(sorry), unless I can convert them.
My video of me at the Pate Swap Meet will be filmed with my Nikon, since I'm sure my mom doesn't want me to hijack her phone. :D

I mean, I just checked the reviews, and the seller and item have 100% buyer satisfaction.
And that's not easy to fake on Ebay.
And I have found some underestimated killer deals on Ebay anyway.
