    Another idea If I cannot get the back plate off the cvt can't I just take the variator off and replace it with a regular centrifugal go kart clutch and make it chain driven?

    Lost key from shaft, variator fan keeps coming loose. I put some locktite on bolt hoping it will keep it secure. But will have to address the issue sooner than later gonna try and see if the back plate removes asap

    I'm hoping it comes off I'm out of options, can't hardly find parts for this model, if I do get it changed soon I'll just give it to you for shipping cost. You think I'll have to change keyed shaft to support new dimensions of converter ?

    yea looks like I'm just going to have to put it back on and use it until I can actually find one. I am also going to try and scoop up some ff620s for parts if I can find any around at decent prices.
