Well have everything together and have ran in to a problem. Starts great with choke on but when I slowly turn the choke off it dies. I have tried the idle screw didn't work? It will not run without the choke on 1/4 way? Its a brand new predator 212. Any suggestions?

Got the t/c on belt seems little loose can you tighter it? Also there's nothing on the chain just 2a sprockets and chain. Is there a guide or something?

Made some progress today! Worked on cosmetics im going to rhino line the whole kart! I do have a few more tec questions. Got the t/c mounted the belt is on but just does not feel tight? How tight should it be and how would you adjust? Also I forgot how the t/c cover goes on? Lol keep in mind...

well got h.f on the kart It appears the shaft may be a bit shorter on the h.f than the tec. The belt pully's don't line up off by just a hair. I guess im going to grind down the shaft spacer a bit. Net come hooking up throttle. Getting there!

Hi guys just ordered a 6.5 hp predator from h.b for $87! I have never worked on a kart before the kart has a torque converter. How hard is the swap? Any tips? Can't wait to get it running think I am more stoked than my kids! Lol Thanks everyone!

thanks all for the tips! Tore it down today! Well drained the crank case and fuel tank. Engine had compression. Looks like carburetor is shot also coil is shot. Tore down motor it appears to be fine. After alot of thought im leaning towards the new engine. Coil carbon etc around $100 so why not...
