I've recently swapped a Tec Powersport for a new HF Predator. The swap was pretty much straight forward. The only issue was the Predator shaft was not as long as the Tec shaft. I had to get a shaft bolt a little longer from the hardware store. Take your old one for comparison.
As for the throttle hook-up, the new Predator has everything there to make your connections. It's great. I did add an extra return spring. You can see it in the pic.
Last thing, make sure you unplug the low oil sensor on the front of the engine. If not, your engine may shut off on turns.
