There might be a custom racing transaxle out there that would work, probably cost $10000. The TH-425 uses a lot of TH-400 parts, I wouldn't doubt it if you could make a manual valve body from a 400 work, this would be better for drag racing anyways.

If you do a 2 speed why not pick a tried and true set of ratios? 1.76:1 and 1:1.

I see no need for such a wide ratio trans.

Its a good idea to slowly feed an engine ATF as it is running out of fuel, feed it more and more till it dies, this coats everything in oil. Then flush the carbs and fill with kerosene. An engine should keep for 50 years like that.

Assuming this is a 4 stroke. You probably got oil in the cylinder, then fouled the spark plug trying to burn it out. Buy a couple new plugs and it should be good to go. This is why its always a good idea to carry a spare plug and wrench when on the trail.

Enough antifreeze on the pavement and anything will burn em.
