Getting all the good deals! As soon as this is running I can clean up a good bit of my workspace and get it to be somewhat reasonable. Too many karts and parts and not enough space.

Got most of the way through swapping the side covers before I found out that the other cover was too wide. Can I run the tc with 3/4 bolts? Doesn't havevthe 4th hole.

Hub is less bent than I thought, just a tad off. Should be fine. Going to be mostly offroad.

Someone on my street blamed the guy across the street from me. He built minibikes, his kids had go karts, and he likes my truck.

Could you show us a pic of what you did? The small spring that's on the linkage from the governer arm is used to crack the throttle when starting the engine. The governer is partly what does the job of returning it to idle.

got it from HF, 7$ with the 20% and the 5$ from the recall. so like 12 without it. tempted to get the 3 horn one too... should be 15 or so.

Go kart horn?:cool: 135db. Got it to throw on my yota. Recall on a knife from Hasard Fraught.

If you need help with the brakes/throttle someone on here should know, and that axle sprocket you were talking about earlier. lock it down good, I once rode a kart with about a half inch of slop in the bearings and threw the chain multiple times while riding.

Weld it back on? Did it with a cheap wagon wheel. Then scrapped it.

It took me a while to figure out that you could just take the center piece out of the top half to get all the balls back into the starter, then put the top back on.

Got my torque converter mocked up. Need the crank off the other engine because this one looks cleaner and has less rust/corrosion.

I'll see next time I get on a go kart but that might be a bit, have to work on my grades first.

Got axle bearings, need to bolt the hangers on and get my hubs fixed, move the sprocket hub ~1", modify my engine mount, get eithor the crank swapped or the sidecover.
