I was trying to look at the pics almost looked like he linked throttle directly to governor rod solidly. Which of course does nothing but bypass it. It isn't the best engine to use but it is a solid engine.

You have the same engine as mine. If you can look for the manual throttle control lever on ebay or somewhere. That way it'll be just like any other small engine. Then just put a spring so it returns to idle after loosening nut.

Both were 130202 engines. 5hp horizontal shaft.

I actually have 2. one was from a 74 the other a 95. I have no clue which is which. one has 43 and the other has 45 cast between the lobes. Take your pick. That is gummy oil not rust.

If you can take a pic of your engine and a shot from rear showing below the fuel tank. That would help alot. You can always connect directly to throttle but lose governor but depends on what you want.

Does your gas tank have the gear looking pieces below tank and above the single mounting bolt?

My memory isn't the greatest but aren't the rockers the same for intake and exhaust? Swap them around relash and see of problem moves to exhaust pushrod.

are you referring to the stamped piece bolted to the 3hp engine? the mounts on the bike frame should fit just fine. can barely see it in pic here.

Another curb alert pressure washer. Started on second or third pull. Fuel pump must been dry. Oil was fairly clean pump oil was nasty didn't look like it mixed with water. But here goes. Had pressure only ran for a minute or so then pulled pump off to clean and check for other leaks. Just...

Check where carb meets manifold and manifold meets head.
