Could you post a pic of that gokart frame? I have a frame I'm trying to figure out if it's a go-fur or grasshopper. Anyway go with a 1" hardened fully keyed solid round axel.

In some cases you can also use a soft tape measure, like a seamstress use. Works great on measuring the circumference.

Have u thought about getting some tight chicken wire? Then forming it to your liking on your machine. Then get a fiber glass an resin kit an make your own.

Oh man, that was over 10 yrs ago. I believe in total we shorten the 2 springs in the picture an the solid rod about 1/4" . It is a 6.5. H.p. g.h. I'm aware this is a predator site.

I really don't understand why people always think their engine will run better or faster after removing the governor. All I did was re adjust my springs an mine runs faster with no problems.
