    Hello, I'm trying to get my kart ready for sandblasting. However I'm unable to remove my sidebars does anyone know if they are welded on the inside and the bolted on? Or are they just rusted in place?

    Unfortunately that wasn't possible. I'm thinking it was the brand name of the engine. Anyway I solved the problem. Used all the remaining parts from that same kit except aluminum plate, cover an shaft. Now their in my spare parts cabinet.

    I ordered that set up quite some time ago. I couldn't get that aluminum plate to line up with any of the holes on my engine in a usable spot.

    Tight TC belt?

    That is some kind of bearing mess I've never seen before. Clutches do look misaligned. Also check the hole location of your spring. The r.p.m. take off changes depending on the hole location.

    If your looking for full penepration I'd use argon. Might not be necessary. Depends on how good you can weld.

    Don't know what size wheels your using,The only thing I can think of is to get a mini bike wheel, they have a sprocket already mounted on them.

    Harbor freight has a digital read caliper.

    Just remember to drill small weep holes In the tube or it will build up pressure in there an blow a big hole.
