Not crankshaft.. Only trough bolt and only one mm into shaft.. Take a closer look on bearings on live axle..

if you didn't find seat, you can try make it by your own .. there is how I did it http://www.diygokarts.com/vb/showpost.php?p=397698&postcount=43 but you have to protect Styrofoam before applying plastic ...

I would drill trough bolt and into axle for 1 mm .. then make thread and put in small bolt.. same as bearing is secured on axle ..

U can use bike or quad disc brakes.. If you not sure axle is strong enough make hub and mount disc on wheel...

Ussualy , on those thing, if you follow throtll cable, it is split into two directions on one point. One cable goes to the carb an second goes to oil pump.. From my expireince, if you use your own mixture on some rpm range there is a lot more smoke , it is a bit cleaner if you use stock...
