    Wtf Just Happened?!?!?!

Try a grade 8 bolt. They're about as strong as you can buy. It should have 6 little lines pointing in from each point on the bolt head.

I certainly wouldn't be against it!

    Wtf Just Happened?!?!?!

Something must be out of alignment and causing the JS to be pulled laterally. Maybe try a longer JS with a locking collar against each bearing?

    Gx-390 on a 4 wheeler frame

If you really want to keep up with a quad, try a CVTech TC. They have a lower low and higher high than Comet 40s, IIRC.

Yerf Dog 3203 Axle nut what size.

Better yet, try a Fastenal over your hardware store. If it's got threads, Fastenal probably has it in stock, and if they don't, they can get it.

    Need some ideas...

This is a bad idea. Civil resistance. It worked for an entire race, why not you? Take the high road in all this.

    Removing rusted bearings

I removed ones with a dowel rod and a hammer and knocked them out from the inside. Do you have access to an arbor press? It worked wonders pressing in bearings.

    briggs vs tecumseh

IMO, there are more aftermarket racing mods for a Briggs over a Tec. As for removing the gov., it will be limited by valve float, and as long as you have strong enough after market parts, you should be ok as long as it doesn't rip at WOT for 15+ or so seconds, but WOT could be in excess of...

    Just Finished Utility Vehicle

I thought you meant you thought it had 1wd, sorry. I was referring to this. Sorry, I missed his comment. I wouldn't want 1wd on an off road utility vehicle. A limited diff at most, but off road conditions should allow enough slip that you don't need a diff/1wd.

    Gx-390 on a 4 wheeler frame

WAIT! Before you go about buying anything, make sure that the motor has a straight shaft about 2.5"+ long. It may be too short and/or tapered, thus not practical on a kart as it sits.

    Go kart building programs?

If you want to work on a VERY high level, I would suggest checking out the album SAEbajacaptain has posted in his profile page. It's a single seater, off road buggy, with a 10HP engine. The buggy is incredible.

    My summer projects

You can't be serious!?! That's way out of alignment. Add washers being your driver until they are perfect. That's exactly why your belt is wearing.

You should probably get some larger bolts for those heim joints so that they don't have any play. As well as put spacers so they can't slide on the bolt.

    my hybrid kart

The steering geometry may be off now that you've widened the front, but it should still be fine off road.

    Some silly questions

Comet makes both clutches (usually referred to as centrifugal clutches on basic karts) and torque converters "TC" (a type of CVT). 1. A cent. clutch is different from a TC in that it uses internally expanding shoes to grab the outer drum and spin the drive sprocket. 2. A TC does use centrifugal...

Has anyone here, made a gokart out of this?

I would advise against that. The integrity just isn't up to par. It's like the all thread of the angle iron world. Great for shelves, racks, and hanging garage door openers, but not for karts in my book.
