Fowler, I don't think so... But I also don't think it's been done. Maybe Blaz will know. There may be an issue with the driver weight pack. I just don't know.

Where to buy complete torque converter kits?

If you're SO sure (like the big font? really proves my point) that it can take up to 13HP, go buy one and run 13HP through a Comet 30 series clone. Tell me how many belts you turn into jellied rubber. There's a reason Comet rated it to 8HP, because it can handle up to 8HP. GTC ripped off...

    this is mental

Who knows. It looks to be a 4x4, but who knows what they did to it. I have a friend who modded a second center diff. for his WRX so that it would be RWD in the summer for drifting and then he could still have awesome Subie AWD in the winter.

Which welder for 1/8" thick steel?

There's 2 in my area. One (Glenshaw Steel) is really close, but they don't have a website. The other is http://www.metcosupply.com/. Click PDF catalog, then Metals. Both will sell to individuals from my experience. I just went there and said I was from the local high school, named the...

    Anybody have airsoft guns?

They're probably improving in quality, but then, they were your average spring shotgun. They were a pain to load without a pistol mag shaped speed loader, unless you get the high cap one with crank wheel. If you're just messing around in the back yard with friends, it's perfect. Cheap...

    Anybody have airsoft guns?

Why? Anyways, I have a UTG Gen. 5 (IIRC) M24 model sniper, I forget its UTG name. It shoots .2g's around 480 fps. It's got a 4x32 mil-dot scope with red/green illumination and a locking, extendable, bipod underneath. I have the insides teflon modded to help keep any air from leaking out...

Which welder for 1/8" thick steel?

Home Depot, Lowes, etc. all charge too much for metal. My local supplier sells 2x2x.125 for $4 a foot and, through polls on here, they've proven to be right around the average for metal across the US. The eBay one is about $24 for 4' so about $6 a foot. The arc welder probably wouldn't do...

My Kart - Need help, first time.

Firstly, instead of asking how big your budget is, since that's all relative, what are you willing to put into it? I, too, would agree that it's a <5HP Tecumseh engine. I would upgrade the brakes for sure...as for the 250cc bike engine, that seems a bit big for that frame.

Which welder for 1/8" thick steel?

Either of those welders will do 1/8", but the flux core wire feed welder will be easier to learn if you have never welded before (I get this feeling from your original question). Also, please, do NOT buy that metal. It's roughly $6 per foot. My local supplier sells it for $4 per foot. It...

    GSXR 750 ENGINE Kart

In your link in post 21, I believe that is from the same family of those collegiate buggies I posted earlier. It's called Formula SAE. It's an intercollegiate competition where they take a CBR600 engine and build a mini formula 1 car around it. Those things go 0-60 in < 3.0 seconds and hit...

    GSXR 750 ENGINE Kart

Good as they are, not many of us have the budget for those...unless you have some less than moral ways of acquiring those. ;) I just got AutoCAD 2012. I would go with a mild off road kart, but equip it with slicks for road use. And a wider wheel base all around.

    GSXR 750 ENGINE Kart

Try this. http://tinyurl.com/3sboarx These buggies are great and can handle a larger engine. The only problem is that no plans are available. They're built entirely by college engineering students.
