If you are racing for $$$, do the degree wheel and what not. If you are just riding around the neighborhood with friends, don't worry about it.

The bullfrog piston? I just got mine fired up today. I haven't run it on the kart yet. It's advertised as 11:1.

Predator Hemi Bullfrog Motorsport High Comp Piston

I have to go to Sears to get the socket. Iirc the ring gaps were around 0.015" for the compression rings, and the oil rings were considerably larger. I've got the piston in the bore already, but I looked at the stock one and installed the rings the same way. Iirc the cast looking ring was on...

Hello everyone! Im new and could really use alittle help lol

He talked about the js being 3/4 and the sprocket he prematurely purchased is 5/8. I don't know poop about torque converters, which is probably evident.

Hello everyone! Im new and could really use alittle help lol

I was looking at pics of karts with TCs the other day, not all of them have the tc backplate, which leads me to believe his likely didn't when it was new. What is the diameter of the tc stub shaft? Can you mount the driven to the jackshaft and then leave the chain and sprockets on the other end...

    Hemi Predator Build #2

I don't like USPS tracking. I've had things show up at my house before tracking showed it being picked up. Good luck getting it soon.

Predator Hemi Bullfrog Motorsport High Comp Piston

I have it installed, put some clay in the valve pockets and it looks good. I just don't know which piston rings goes on top, one looks cast and the other looks copper coated. I need to get the right socket for the rod bolts, but I should have it back together this weekend.

Changing the cam ONLY on a 212cc

Theres a lot more to cams than just changing the amount of fuel and air that gets in the cylinder. Lift, duration, and overlap and play a part in how much power and where it makes power. You've already done that basics, it's a good foundation. Others are going to recommend a rod and flywheel for...

    Engine sprocket loose... normal?

Probably not normal, but take the sprocket off and inspect the lock ring ("washer") and groove.

Hello everyone! Im new and could really use alittle help lol

If he doesn't have the ability to cut and weld like he says, then putting a tc on is going to be difficult for him, unless he has someone else do the work.

    Engine sprocket loose... normal?

Looks like a motorcycle engine/sprocket. How much play is there? A small amount (very very small) would be normal, the "washer" that's bolted on is what keeps it on.

    Hemi Predator Build #2

I don't have digital calipers at home, so that the best I could do. It is a m6-1.0, I put an M6 nut on it. Length is about 108mm

    People around here...

There's a guy on fb who makes frames like those, the welded frame is $800 and the welded it yourself frame is $375. Says he had one with a TC and a nearly stock 212 do 64 mph. https://retromodminibikes.myshopify.com/products/minihog-full-roller-frame-kit

I can possibly have an answer for you tomorrow. (monday) measured with my inch calipers its about 6 mm. I'll verify the diameter and pitch at work.

    I decided I wanted a dyno

Well yes. 10 lbs of force applied at the end of a 12" bar would be 10 lb-ft, but 10 lbs of force applied at the end of a 24" bar would be 20 lb-ft. My point was just that if you don't know the length of the bar, then you can't calculate the torque. But with the gadget he's using, all of that is...

    Engine sprocket loose... normal?

Are you talking about the key and keyway? If so, no, it should all be tight together.
