Is this safe or just send it?

I'd say it's time to have that thing bored .030 over. Or maybe .060. Have you checked to make sure the rings are still in one piece (except for the oil ring)?

    Tecrapseh OHH60 puking oil

Get a Non Hemi (pn 69730). I've always had luck with the non hemis. I've only owned one hemi, and I won't buy another. The thing was revving 4800rpm out of the box (governor grenading rpm), and was backfiring hard every time I let off the gas. Also it shook like crazy.

ken bar streaker floor pan stickers?

I hope these help. I know the stickers aren't in pristine condition, but they should be good enough. Perhaps my favorite sticker on the kart. I think that the space between the S and T is supposed to be there, as well as the spaces where the T goes by the R.

Yeah, the ford modular engines are junk. It is the only engine I know of that nobody will rebuild at a reasonable price. My grandfather had a '99 grand marquis that had a modular, and that engine had a head gasket blow out. Funny story, the last car my grandfather bought before his current car...

    Blab about one wheel peels

I have a manco eliminator ss with a predator 212 and 9:1 gearing. It's great because it is a smooth ride for a solid frame, and will drift right hand turns infinitely. But it sucks because it won't get going anywhere but on grass and hard dirt, and it trenches the yard instead of turning left...

ken bar streaker floor pan stickers?

My kart does have the original stickers on it. I'll see about getting a good pic of it later.

To setup the throttle for performance, remove all current throttle and governor components, the carburetor and airbox (leave the manifold thingy). Go on the web and get a cheap chikuni 22mm and filter, and a long enough throttle cable. The carb should almost be a direct swap, the throttle will...

Is this safe or just send it?

Go out and buy yourself a compression tester. It's much more accurate than the finger in the spark plug hole method. And HF has one for like $25 or $30.

    Predator 212cc Camshaft, Power Gains?

Do you have a billet rod and flywheel for it? The heavier valve springs move the valve float rpm to above the rpm when the rods snap. The stock rods are good for about 6k, while the 18lb springs are good for 7k.

Forgot to mention that my bike's in the shop. The crank arm bolt kept backing out, and the rear brake reach adjustment kept loosening up. Also it needed a tune up (new chain, grease everything, and adjust the derailers). So for now I'm riding the deathtrap (Schwinn sidewinder 26"). Which is the...

Well, If all goes well I'll be getting the truck this weekend (though I'm not holding my breath). I may do a cheapo/diy/redneck lift kit. It won't ever be going on the road so it'll be fine. And it has no title (my great uncle let it go 20 years ago when he stopped driving it). Eventually I'll...

Well, I found the perfect car (ish) for that 351, trouble is I can't afford it on a 17yo's salary (grades and part time job). It's a 1967 mustang base model that's missing the original engine and trans (it was a 6cyl so it won't be missed). Interior is a bit rough (mainly the door panels, and...

Cant get torque converter to engage

Uh, zip ties on the throttle spring are never a good idea. That will let the engine rev to valve float (around 5200 rpm), however at anywhere over 4700 or 4800 I believe, you run the risk of the governor wheel flying apart inside the engine. Then the metal weights can lodge themselves between...

Would our bankers kill us if they could?

It's like Cars and Cameras, some of their best projects were their first, like the rat rod wagon. And since then their quality has been going downhill. Though I'm still waiting on the drag rail's 670 teardown. And speaking of youtubers on here, has anyone seen mrturbo458? His last post was on...

Can someone explain this to me?

Nope, The 79cc predator is $109.99 and the predator 212 is $124.99 without a coupon, $100 with a coupon.

    Cooling With A Smaller Flywheel

Yeah, 1/16 of a mile is plenty. That's 330 feet, and I usually do 100 foot drags for everything except my Streaker and my minibike. All my karts with centrifugal clutches lock up within 15 feet at full throttle, and are at max speed at the 60 foot ish, but a few governor removals would fix that.

    Put rim without bearing

Why do I get the feeling that the rim is off a lawnmower. Those run bushings instead of bearings. And that's fine at 5mph, but when you get into the mid teens or twenties they won't last long, if they even last at all.

    Quick Bits

What are the bushings for? You might be able to take the dimensions to a machine shop and have them turn some on a lathe. They should be able to do it easily. But definitely check on the ones you ordered. I believe in either getting the part or getting a refund.

    OHSK90 Tecumseh OHV Build

I take it the 390 came off a pressurewasher. And you have quite the stockpile of engines. Did you convert that briggs oppy to a horizontal shaft?
