You are right the pitman arm is was long and the hole was drilled at the bottom. So I drilled a new hole and it definitely helps. I need to get real tie rods. I made some make shift ones just so I could drive it but its temporary

i am building my go kart and am about to mount the motor and get it started. i want to install an intake and exhaust on my predator 212 but i wasn't sure if i should install before or after i start it for the first time? what do you think?:thumbsup:

I'm no master fabricator but couldn't you just slap a few washers or anything really to lift the motor an inch or so to remove the slack?

the only reason i was going for something so big is because i am 6'5 220. but that link gives me some ideas! i found a metal weight calculator and it only came out to about 50 pounds. how heavy should the frame be?
