i posted almost a year ago today my rough plans for a go kart and with some help from you guys and a year later it drove! of course its never done and i have questions but it drove!! and stopped ahahah
my first question is if there is a quick way to make the steering longer if that makes sense? i barely turn the steering wheel and I'm being jerked either direction. ill take more pictures of the steering set up and post them tomorrow.

If your steering response is too twitchy, you need to shorten the Pittman arm on your steering column or lengthen the ones on your spindles.

If your steering geometry is not set up right, (camber, caster, and Ackerman angle) or your alignment is off (mostly toe out) that can also cause twitchy steering.

I just zoomed in on your one pic... Looks like your Pittman arm is like 8 inches long, and your steering arms are less than half that.

That's your problem right there.

You are right the pitman arm is was long and the hole was drilled at the bottom. So I drilled a new hole and it definitely helps. I need to get real tie rods. I made some make shift ones just so I could drive it but its temporary
