Got an epoxy coat on the old WW1 shotgun I've been cleaning up... Not looking too bad now! Hopefully it holds up well.

Definitely a heck of a lot better than the nonfunctional rusty hunk of metal I dug out the back of a gun shop a couple months ago. Can't decide if I want to redo the wood or not. Takedown case is in progress though

If you re-do the wood, can you do it in ebony. or zebra wood..? IT would look really good with the black/greyish color.

See you just don't get it!! upper thigh? foot? normally all covered. unless you are barefoot in shorty short short shorts. and that aint gonna attract no chicks.
My boy has a cool 3/4" scar just under his eye. His sister hit him with a shovel! (total accident) The stiches made it look like a football stich.

OH SCARS? I don't got very many "cool" scars. bunch down my right leg from motorcycle low sides. and jeans... :)

the one on the back of my neck [the most recent actually] is about the coolest one I got, Got wacked in the back of the neck with a hatchet [Head] that had come flying off... Right to the right of the spine right below the hairline on the neck muscle. the cut was so cool, just cut the skin and not the muscle. pretty wild, no blood either.

I also got one across the top of my left wrist from a hand saw that slipped to the side when starting a cut and some how it ended up running across my arm. lol

Ha! I have a scar about 1" long under my left eye. Same story...kinda lol. I was 8 and my brother stabbed my with a broken shovel, one of thise big spade shovels. He had broken most of the spade part off and left maybe 3-4" of jagged metal, looked like a spear kinda. The bad thing is that it wasn't an accident, he even told me he was gonna stab me with it...:censored:

Boy did my mom beat the holy crap out of him. Sucks being the baby out of 3 boys lmao.

Well I've claimed the garage and the entire basement and a bedroom(4 rooms total) and the garage is filled with my stuff, my tools and my karts, but they're cool with it. Guess it's easier to give me space than to try to cram it all into one area. Lol.

Speaking of which, that qtr midget(have no idea how I was even seated tbh things tiny and I am not.) needs to go. It took blood...oh wait. All my projects do that..: hmmm

:useless:.....JK...

Well, without me the lawn mower wouldn't be running! Lmao

I don't know how frowned upon it would be to post a pic of the actual cut and then with the stitches...with the stitches it doesn't look to bad..

The before pics? LOL

Its kinda an every two years thing. Its really long, I get it cut. [this time did the cutting] shorter. and then just wait another 2 years...

To be honest I used the clippers [buzzers] for most of it, only used scissors for the first bulk of things. so the back, since its kinda hard to see, is abit iffy, but all well. :cheers2:

enjoy my mugshots.

JeeperJoel and I both cut our own hair....(on a regular basis) .

Because...as you say, the back is more difficult, I decided awhile back to let a Pro have a go at it, and I like what I do better than what they did!!!!

Well, I've been fighting with a chest/bronchial infection for a little over a week now (as well as a few other issues) &, just because that's not enough, some of you have been acting like school kids & making my life even more difficult (YES, I'M COMPLAINING, isn't that what this thread is about?)

So, allow me to ask a favour of all of you: PLEASE behave yourselves for a while, give me a little peace...

I just heard that my daughter has gotten a job closer to me, so I will be seeing more of her soon. This is great news. She is still far enough away that they cannot just pop in, but not so far that I cannot go visit (30min away)

An interesting discussion came up yesterday. about knives and little kids..

Folder or Fulltang?

I vouched for full tang only because I HATE folders for the most part. I only own one, that doesn't even lock open old school baby!.. For a work horse knife full tang always. Also folders make me nervous. if a little kid [we're talking like 7 or so] uses it wrong and it closes on their hand... well yeah.. and how many folders with locking mechs do you really trust? I've seen too many fail.

also found out they make "child safety" knives. With rounded heads... I will never understand that. with enough force you can shove a bowling ball through someones body.... and bowling balls are pretty blunt... LOL
