Hey,

Those wheel well flares, look like they are made outta the seal, for a roll up garage door.

...& good eye!

Yup, I made 'em


But, the material was way too wide (& wonky)

They even stuck out ~1/2" further than the tire

So, I trimmed 'em up a bit

Narrowed 'em down from ~2 1/2" to ~1 5/8"

I think that looks more better

Looks pretty good. You should get some diamond plate aluminum and make some rear fender guards for it.

Workin' on/with some of the edge trim that I got out of an Isuzu truck

...but, this transition needed some "work"

But, I also, didn't want to mess 'er up at this "late hour" (~1 week till the parade)
...so, I figured I'd try a "test piece" first (used the rear curve "test piece")

...& cut/shape 'er ta match the body side

Trimmed up & smoothed

...& with the edge trim

I ordered some trim like that to seal yhe gas tank against the body of my ct90. It has an earlier model gas tank on it, and it doesn't seat properly, a bit of that trim took up the gap and looks good.

That looks a little too tall, maybe trim some od the height and weld it back together? Either way I say get one of those little winches from harbor freight and mount it on there.

Here is the last piece, of the steel that I made the grille(s) outta
...& Ducky too

I cut a piece outta it
...did some markin'
...& drilled some small holes
...& then, drilled some bigger holes

Then, "punched 'er out, with a circular piece of wood
...& a nut, bolt & washer
...& some clamps
...& an impact gun

Did 'er (2) times (in a row even)
...& did some creative shapin' before bendin'
* Yea, I noticed the "wavyness" hopefully the bends will straighten them out

Put 'er in the bender

A couple of bends later

Then, aligned 'er
...& bolter 'er inta the Brush Guard (ta add some off roadin/explorin' lights)

Whadda ya'alls think?

Ima be using the same lights, as I used for the headlights

* Remember, the mini-Jeep is powered by a 48V battery pack
...& "if" using 12V lights
...wesa be needin' (4) of them (wired in series) ta work with its 48V system

** Same with the running lights
...& also, the brake lights (wesa be needin' (4) of them, wired in series)

Before workin' on the lights, we needs ta hook-up the brakes
...& I gots a fancy idea, inspired by this guy (the brake/clutch pedal assembly, off of a riding lawn mower)

I got that stupid "bow" outta the front of the hood

How did Isa do it, you ask?

Well, I did some markin' (1/4" across the front edge)

...& some trimmin' (wanted a ~1/4" left in the middle to be able to add a lip, to the front edge)

Then, put 'er in the bender (clamped to just that 1/4" strip)

...& bended 'er (used them wide jaw plyers, ta sharpen the bend a bit more)

Mother Nature isn't being too kind to all of this bare metal

So, more smoothin'

...& cleanin'

...& paintin'

Now, there all sealed up

Satin Black paint still has a decent shine, whilest it'sa still wet

After some trimmin'
...& a "dry fit"

Then, some cleanin'
...& degreasin'

After some stickin' & smoothin' & trimmin'
...itsa lookin' kinda like this
