yep , that is what I was going to do with the back rest. Not sure about putting one in front but that is an option.
I'm working on the next video now. Man is it long. like 23 min. I tryed to cut it down as much as I could without taking out to much info but it was hard.
I think I will be making a differant seat.

sure will.

I had someone ask me if I could some how put subtitals on my videos for the hearing impared. YT offers this but its not very good. I went and turned this option on my #15 video just to see how well it worked.
This is what you do .... go to that video on page 4 of this thread. click play.
down in the left hand area of the player next to the ( + ) sign you will see an arrow button, mouse over that and a little list of stuff is shown go up to the ( cc ) button and click on that.
It will turn on the subtitals .... the program that YT uses is the stupidest thing I have ever seen .... listen to what I say compared to what the subtitals are .... There is no way anyone can watch that with out laughing their a$$ off.

I would if I had a pipe/tube bender. Ive tried doing differant was to bend a tube but I mess it up every time. Also it showes that there are differant ways to do something. Its kind of a pain and more work but by me not haveing a bender, other kids who dont have one eather ... see how I do something and realize that there are more ways then one to acheive an outcome.

I just dont like knowing that people give up on something because ( they dont have access to the easy way )

You can build a header out of normal threaded pipe and assorted bends. And that can be acquired from any hardware store and easily assembled.

I was thinking of useing some plumbing pipe but I dont think that could handle the heat ... or could it. like the steel stuff under the sink.

Metal chair legs are very nice to use also. They usually have some pretty nice bends too. Made my tractor exhaust out of chair legs.

wont melt or anything! the worst case is it leaks at the threads, but that 99% sure wont happen, but you would always weld them.

T-man you know any kid who makes this is NOT going to be running a stock muffler. Thats the first thing they mod. You can drill the jet so no money there. Just cut the old flange off the clone muffler. Find some bent pipe an weld to flange.

Old mower handles make good pipes as well. Bends to.

If you keep the stock mufler. Can you cut the muffler pipe between the muffler and flange. Then spin the muffler and reweld it so the exuhast tip is pointing another derection???? Just a simple cut spin and weld. I am not looking at my clone just thinking. You say the exhaust outlet pipe comes out right at the heat shield?

I built a new seat and back rest today, did a video, but it ended up being 22 min long so I'm braking it down into two.

This got me thinking about previous posts and what not. If you got an old chair leg that usually tapers from the seat down to the foot, you could just cut it off right where it is the same diameter as the exhaust flange and then weld to two together. This would be a nice, shiny, slightly flared straight pipe.

thanks. It wasn't as hard as I though it would be.

I might do something about the exaust latter after everything else is done.
