A viberating bed????

You were not BS"ing. The 4x4 coil springs you sent me from your bed works great.
The nylon like washers are that PC board stuff. I use them for spacers like on spindles. No binding if done right.
The thin metal shims things I get from my work. Just stamped scrape but I use them for all kinds of things.
The handle bar risers are from an old Yamaha GT80 I think. You can make your own bars with those.
That ody wheel will clean up nice if you polish it. I did mine in about a hour and it looks chrome. Can you just cut those cable down? Did you notice how thick the ody brake cable is? Also the brake lever and throttle lever are on splines. You can rotate them for big or small hand grip. Or even use it as a throttle stop. That thick ody cable would be nice for you would get no stretch. Try to fix the plastic if you can for now. Next month I will be buying some new ones I think. I can send you one that is in fair condition later.
The ody shaft I sent you has the plastic bushings in each end. Don't miss those. Look the parts over good. Most that stuff was bent but with easy fix.
The fl250 is about 480lbs dry. So those ody shocks are rated for that. Or to give you an idea. Should be ideal to use for something. The new shocks are from a Italy moped repop I think. You are on your own with that those. They look nice though.
That hub I sent you. It looked like it almost fit. Do the bolt holes line up? Can you mod it for use? It looked like if the bore was a little bigger it would drop on. I was hoping it would fit. That is the hub I could not find the last box I sent you.
Okay back to your trike. I was thinking about what you said about legs being to short and adding an extension. I would not add an extension from the front part of the frame. It would look to bulky. I would build a floor board style foot rest coming off the side frame. Or even better a mini nerf bar slash foot rest. If you come off the front of the frame with an extension. I think it would look to bulky up front. You could make the mini nerf bar look cool as heck as well. Or if you wanted to go the floor board style perhaps you could find some running boards off a touring motercycle. Or even the big old foot gas pedals things welded to the frame rail.
I have another thing I want you to think about. Riding this trike will be a lot like riding a bar stool racer as far as leaning into and out of turns. The problem your going to have is there is nothing for your kness to grab to. On a quad, three wheeler, motorcycle your kness have the gas tank to grab onto for balance. The BSR I built and I am thinking your trike in tight turn it can just fling you off. I am thinking even more so on your trike for the possition you will be sitting. ALSO YOU WILL BE TURNING A WHEEL AND NOT HANDLE BARS. So figure that in as well. After crashing and a few face plants and some road rash riding my BSR I got some tips for you.
Make a nerf bar out from the frame. This will let the rider be able to drop his feet from the front cruzing pegs to a high speed corner stance on the trike. (would you want to do cookies with your feet way out front) Much more stable riding.
Also on the nerf bar make a something, or anything to be able to hook your foot under. Remember your kness have nothing to latch onto. So you can slide get tossed or face planted off the trike pretty easy. This is what I do to fix the problem. Just make your foot peg so you can put your foot on top or under it. This way when you go into a turn your hook your foot under the peg. This gives your body balance for the turn. With nothing for your foot or knee to hold onto you cannot turn as well and will have go slow in turns. Or the other way I was thinking was using one of those old teen speeds foot stirups. You know when we were kids the old touring and racing ten speeds hade those thingy's you stick your toe into? Fab one of those into your nerf bar.
The only other fix I could think of would be a seat with a side bolster. Or maybe a road racing shift kart style seat.
Sorry for blasting out my ideas. I love thinking up stuff like this. Also wanted to tell you about the balance and turning stuff.
PS. I think a china mini quad nerf bar would look sick on your trike. Here is two links for cheap ones. They are small and would look slick. These are for mini quads so not much bigger than a big foot. But would look clean. You could always make them as well. Simple box nerf bar would also look good as well on your trike.

Also posted some pics of my BSR. Notice the front mini bike pegs. Then notice the wing lip on the end of the nerf bar. When I went into a hard turn. I would drop my foot down from the peg and plant it right on that wing tip. This would give me good balance but not enough to keep me from flying off in hard turns. If I had anything to hook my foot onto. I would be able to corner much better.
Some links for ideas but not really the prices.
