oh ya thats an Idea also, there are alot of ways to do it.
big do you know of any places that I could get any uv joints that are not tapered or splined , something that I could just slide in a rod and weld ?

Not off the top of my head. You can buy the small shaft ones and just drill to size though. riding mowers have them I think.

hey t man got the front steering figured out and i finsished it!!!!! will post pics later of the finished steering but seems to work great! also finished back end so i think i am redy to drive this weekend then figure out how to paint it GRRRRRR also when out and bought some sick lights for it

yaaa i know first of the jack is holding the front of the go kart up in the air.... also the shocks hole diameter isnt as big as those shock brackets i bought from BMI so if i let the jack down the shocks slide down a little farther (havent tightened the shocks yet) and then when i sit in it they are practacly level i ment to say that in my first commemnt but forgot.... when i get it all finished all take a pic and show you what i mean

My little boy came out to me tonight and said " daddy watch this .... " He did something that was just funny and cool at the same time so I grabed the camera. Some times I'll do beat boxing with my mouth when I'm working on something or when I'm bourd .... and some times the kids catch me.
