How come you didn't remove that governor gear? Seems pretty obvious that a plastic part would explode under high stress and rpm...

I have nothing but good things to say about my hemi. No issues ever. I'm currently on the stock rod and flywheel and pushing over 6k rpm. Governor fully deleted of course. Soon as I sell the mower I'll pick up the billet rod and flywheel, because I know my luck will run out at some point if I don't.

Welp, had Whataburger for breakfast today!

My brother works at the local Whataburger, and they were going to throw out several burgers, so he didn't want to waste them.

I know the governor wheels explode at those rpms, the reason I didn't remove it was because everything was still hooked up. Like I said, it was like that out of the box. I just didn't catch it until after the break-in (I did the 1/3 throttle for 3 hours break-in). Also it was still under warranty, and I didn't want to screw that up. So I swapped it out for a non hemi, and the new engine is much smoother (The hemi was rattling the seat bolts loose). Also I didn't want to deal with the sound of a 50 cal behind my head every time I let off or gave it gas.

I was subject to a random searching this morning. They searched my little string-up Nike bag... And the only thing in it was plastic forks. It was completely full of em'. He asked why I had a whole bag of forks, I said you never know when you'll need one. And it's true, I've used a few of them.

The look on his face was priceless when he opened that bag, only to see a pile of plastic forks!

I used to work at a burger joint in Michigan called 'Hot & Now' and we had a secret recipe of spices only I would know as I was the burger fryer!!!! MMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm DELICIOUS spices!!! It also had Miracle Whip and black or green olives!!!!!!! It was out of this world!! WHAT???? You've never tried a hamburger with Miracle Whip????? Oh try one!!!!! Try black or green sliced olives on it too!!! Oh, and sprinkle some spices in the frying pan too........

Whietrashrocker and mckutzy, don't get me wrong, the sound of a 50 cal is cool, but when your go kart does that every 100 feet, it's kind of hard to explain to your neighbors. Although all you have to tell my neighbors is "Don't look at me, the stupid thing came from china." They immediately understand.

My brother corrected me, it was not the mushroom swiss. It was the sweet and spicy bacon burger!
It was good nonetheless!

But ohhh, the best burger I've ever had is from a smaller joint around here called Burger Street. It was expensive, but HOO DOGGY! IT WAS REALLY GOOD! It was very extravagant, it's just that all the ingredients tasted like they were freshly harvested. The raw red onions were out of this world.

Sounds like a bunch of fun karl looks like it too! i prepped my 212 today and used my "hyper tough" impact and it is so powerful its more powerful then my grandpas and it was cheaper lol! Im thinking of building a street 3 speed live axel race mower my only issue is the live axel and belt lol. I might need some help with welding which i have my grandpa and buddy to help me weld stuff. I think since my snapper is unibody i gotta find a mower with a seprate frame for ease of building it. Also i do have a set of go kart hubs and some old hime joint mower tie rods. so i could make some spindle mounts from some scrap metal since i have grinder blades now

I REALLY like my dad's Rigid impact driver. It was a LIFE-SAVER when I was aligning my kart sprocket. I had to loosen/tighten the bolts at least a dozen times. A waste of time with a ratchet! But then when I figured out the impact, man, I must have been working 300% faster!

Heck, I even use it to remove Briggs starter clutches sometimes when I don't really care too much. Takes a few adapters though. For the most part I use a breaker bar though.

I have the Ryobi 7 piece tool bag, and I use it almost everyday for cars, karts, bikes, mower etc etc. I love it, the tools have plenty of power

I use my dewalt power drill for loosening and tightening bolts in a hurry, after starting them by hand. It doesn't have the power of an impact, but it's perfect for what I need. Plus I can back down the torque limiter/slipper, and tighten 10-32 bolts without worrying about stripping them out. I get the feeling an impact would break those in half. However I usually use a 3/8 wrench with a 10" extension, so I can hold the extension with my left hand, and spin the wrench with my right.

I haven't had any issues using my 20v DeWalt 1/4" impact stripping anything out. Granted torque on it is like 117ft/lbs or 1400in/lbs and it does great. When my Porter cable cordless impact broke down, I used my DeWalt to remove lug nuts from a JL Wrangler (those are torque to 130ft/lbs) and it did it without complaining too much.
