I may have heard one of his songs in a movie, but I'm not sure. He's a bit before my time, still sucks when an artist dies.
Anywho, so I did a new Ram 1500 today, new body style for a pdi. Soon as I start pulling out of the parking spot with it to start my inspection, I heard a clicking sound coming from the left rear. Got it in my stall, found a screw in it. Pulled it a bit and it was leaking. So after I fixed the tire and completed the under hood and under the vehicle inspections, I took it on the 10 mile test drive. Barely got it out of the parking lot and found that the steering wheel was way of center to the right. So after completing most of my day, I was able to do an alignment on it. Not sure if the guy on the assembly line fell asleep or what but, the toe was way off by over a degree on both the driver and passenger side.
Anyway, Kevin here is the transmission disconnect for the new body style Ram 1500. Similar situation, but to release it, all you have to do is pull it back out of the lock and it'll release on it's own. I had to disengage the transmission anyway to do the alignment on it (same brand new truck that needed an alignment), so I got the pic for ya. Fortunately this door just needs to be popped open from above and has hinges, so it doesn't come off, unlike the previous generation (as well as the classic 1500).
