The one from Walter Reed is much more promising. The one we got was only for the original variant. The Walter Reed one hits a different protein to help prevent future variants and old versions like SARS from 10+ years ago.

Picked up a 2000 skidoo mxz 440 in time for the snow storm that hit pretty good in Ohio. Bought the sled for 200 knowing it had "transmission issues". Should just need a rebuild on the clutches.

Looks pretty clean. That Rotax should serve you well.
Was owned by an older guy for the last 10ish years so yep. The other sled on the other hand😂 It's a pile. But atleast it moves.

P.S. Broke the bars off before that pic and thats after we drug it back to weld em back on. Bout 1/8" of metal holding em on in the pic.

So just got back from the Jaycee's Ice Fishing tournament in Brainerd MN. Didn't catch anything. Just fished with my dad and cousin for the 3 hours.

That sounds like all my fishing trips. I caught my biggest fish in my life at age 7. A 14 1/2” large mouth bass. Set the pond record and then nothing for the next 47 years. Not even bait!

Rarely do I ever catch anything ice fishing, except a frickin cold. Summer out on a boat, majority of the time I get something.

Internet was down most of the day at work. Fron like 11:40 until we were allowed to go home at 4pm. Can't reccomend services, get parts looked up, parts ordered. Even outside phones were down. Top of that several auto parts places also had internet down, so no idea if any of the stuff we needed for a vehicle I'm working on even got ordered.

Just goes to show how much we rely on internet service. No idea if Spectrum was just being dumb around Lincoln or if it was more throughout.

It’s scary how many youngsters are just like that. They don’t even know how to count change either! I know we have a lot of younger members. But please get an education before playing on BookFace or Tweeter or Metra, Tock Tick Boom. Take it from a stupid old fart. Actually after 50 years old farts are no longer your friends. They are like little ninjas waiting to attack your underwear.

Bad last night. I’m a security guard at a hospital. A bum came in that was detoxing and wanted a warm place to sleep. The doctor medically cleared him. He refused to leave the ER and was loud and cussing. There were children in there. I had to throw him out. I get him out he walks out in the parking lot and punches the tail lights out of a random vehicle. My pick up truck!!
He got his warm bed and supper along with a permanent ban from the ER for life, from the County Sheriff. Well at least the junkyard had the left hand tail light. Got to order a RH.

Caught the virus that shall remain nameless for a third time. Fortunately I caught it on September 14th and had an extended time off from work, fortunately had the PTO to cover for the few days I had to be off. Gave me some time to do some job searching, nothing yet, but I'm setting up to leave my current job after Christmas, when my PTO renews. Around that time, probably after the new year, we are slated to start a 4-10 schedule where we no longer work on Saturday. Truth be told, ever since we had our 2 days on 2 days off schedule back in the first few months of the Pandemic, my group hasn't worked a Saturday.

Also, no project updates for the Buggy. Haven't attempted to work on the engine in months. Been preoccupied with other stuff.

Ouch! That sucks man.

Good mechanics are in demand, Im sure you'll find somewhere that appreciates you.

I'm actually trying to get the heck away from the automotive world. Flag commission pay just isn't worth the headache and hassle. Looking at getting back into welding. There's a small job shop near by that might be hiring CNC and welders soon, soon as I see and advert I'll be submitting my resume to them. Just have to explain my CNC training from college was less than great and my welding skills are a bit rusty. Plus the pay is similar to what I get currently and hours are much more reasonable.

That’s why I got away from the auto industry. Working on commission is fine until you don’t have enough cars coming through the doors or in our case too many mechanics in the shop. Standing around gets real expensive real fast.
