Dis ain't no aircraft, its afriggin tractor. But l know whatcha mean. I used to make some special aircraft bearings for the DOD. For every pound of bearings was 2 pounds of cerificates, inspection logs, material orrigination forms and various other paperwork.

This week on "hacks garage" we made a axle for the rear center section. Dats where the sprocket and brakes go. For now just the two rear brakes.
turning the axle to 1.625 to accept the hub with 2 rotors.
had to use that big spinna machime in the corner.
Den the hub was slid onto the axle and checked for clearance. Funny thing is the clearance is .050" at the skid plate.
l figgered out the axle centerline position and put the axle just high enough to give a little clearance to dem big brake rotors. I have two piston calipers for all four positions.
The MTL scrap pile comes to the rescue again!. Total expendature today $0.00

Math works! If ya wanna build jun... l mean cool stuff like this ya need to learn math.
Old school math but math just the same. We went to the moon, won world wars, built some amazing shyt using ols school math.

The hub between the two rotors needs to be 1.75 thick to clear stuff and the calipers take up a buncha room. I don't mind gaining some weight in a trade off for durability.
Some weight might be welcome. The thing is going to be stupid fast and the top end (on paper) is easily into tripple digits. the grandbrat with a lead foot is the end user. A 12 yo that only knows flat out driving? Weight might slow it down some.
Anyhooo, back to the hub. I put some random speed holes innit!

When l retired some of them bearings were left over, so they followed me home. Some i can use some i find a use for some are just left overs.
The sick part is those were $200 ceramic bearings. They're stll ceramic but i have an abundance of em....
Anyone need 30mm axle bearings? Brand new imna box. Gotta case of dem.

Very true! But the red stuff ya use in dem autoslushbox things is called "gender neutral shift juice" or sumpthin isnt it? Yeah l remember dropping the pan that some idiot forgot to put a drain plug in! You know the story...
Now there is no dipstick even. The engine doesnt even have one. Some electronic bullshop that doesn't instill much confidence.

Anything ECO or multi cylinder mode has been proven to fail sooner than later.
Then they decided to use 0w oils. Yeah buddy!
