This week on "hacks garage" we made a axle for the rear center section. Dats where the sprocket and brakes go. For now just the two rear brakes.
turning the axle to 1.625 to accept the hub with 2 rotors.
had to use that big spinna machime in the corner.IMG_5644.jpeg
Den the hub was slid onto the axle and checked for clearance. Funny thing is the clearance is .050" at the skid plate.
l figgered out the axle centerline position and put the axle just high enough to give a little clearance to dem big brake rotors. I have two piston calipers for all four positions.
The MTL scrap pile comes to the rescue again!. Total expendature today $0.00

What l forgot to say is you youngn's need to pay attention in school.
Math works! If ya wanna build jun... l mean cool stuff like this ya need to learn math.
Old school math but math just the same. We went to the moon, won world wars, built some amazing shyt using ols school math.
l don't know how we gonna do anything with this new math!

I gotta get me one of them spinner machines! For some reason, I always got in trouble in school when I used ours.

Side note: Teachers dont like when you try to turn a block of cheese.

It was quickly dismissed however, when 'ol Dexter tried to singe Nick's arm hair with the acetylene torch...
