Wait, seriously? That sounds a bit dishonest.
And besides Budget GoKart, do you have the receipt for your 212?
BTW, I like your new signature!

Not really, in the end he’s still paid for the predator that he has and didn’t save the package for. It may not be the same engine that came in the box, but in the end it’s still a defective engine.
I get what you’re saying, but I think this a different situation than what a lot of people do. There are some that blatantly take advantage HF’s return. I’m one of those that as soon as I do something that would void the warranty it’s mine for better or worse. If I got one that didn’t run right and shook like an epileptic at a strobe light convention I’d do this in a second.

Just make sure the box matches if it's hemi or not! HFT probably won't notice, but better safe than sorry.

Well then, just use the receipt and box from a new one to return it!
But then you HAVE to keep the new one...

IDK the harbor freights I've been to they could care less. They know they are selling cheap questionable chinese crap (most of it) and probably have to deal with alot of returns.

Hmmm, probably not...

Quite honestly, I would just step away from that 212, before you completely blow it up and/or get hurt. Just return it now and cut your losses.
