I would stick with the Mikuni, or the clone variant that is easy to adapt and jet, and is a known quantity. Especially for the same price.

My Chinabike has the VM26 (Clone), the largest diameter is 30mm, but the throat is 26. I think that's where thing's got lost in translation for the clones.

So for a 420cc four stroke that will turn 6, maybe 7k....

The suggestions have been 30 - 32 mm.

That is something like a Mikuni VM30 - VM32-33 correct?

To work with that 32mm adapter I've been posting from vegas carts?

Correct, sounds right. My Chinabike is advertised as being a 250, but is actually like 229 or something.

Get a 32mm intake and 32mm carburetor. You'll thank me later I promise you. Mine gonna be probably a lectron and a 34-40 ! With my other engine after goofing off with the stocker for awhile.

Nice Find! I would say a Mikuni is inferior in every adjustable way to a Keihin. I would have that on my bike had I known about it.

Just ordered the Koso 32mm. Hope it fixes my issues ! Mine only runs good when. Not under load.

I got the carb, 8* key, so we shall see. If it does the same thing. I guarantee it's the flywheel and coil. I hope my exhaust is just needing more air to run right. I wanted a lectron but done wanna put it on the stock engine. It's going on my stroker build.
