Youll learn to be thankful for this...

(Talking to Casey) If you're not bullied at some point in life, you're just not fully developed. And if you don't eventually face your attacker (a fist to the face really is an attitude adjuster) then you're also not fully developed as a hew-mon. However, if you can get past it (if you're a cool mountain lake and not easily stirred over such trifles -- a great superhuman strength) and do nothing, you're probably even better off. You didn't get suspended from school, or you're not in jail for assault, but you can laugh about it later. Any which way, these things build tremendous character.

Bonus points if you're the bully and you get "checked". I think everyone needs that in life. I saw a young, rather nerdy short fella always saying stupid #### to people with zero consequences, probably because he never got spanked as a child. I think it's because he had no filter and I like to think he eventually got his *** whupped.

EDIT: don't be the aggressor, be merely defending yourself. As soon as someone touches you, that's basically assault. Oh boy, we could go on and on and on on this topic... 😁

I can always tell a man who has not been punched in the face. I will never forget the first time I got punched in the face by someone much older and wiser. I was 15 punched by a way bigger 18 year old. It will really make you think before you speak. Good life lesson I think every man should go through. It teaches you to be humble, watch what you say at times, and learn there are consequences to what you say and do. As you get older and wiser, you become the man teaches the young loud mouth a lesson with a good ol punch in the face. Win some, lose some, but you learn to keep your mouth shut or keep yapping. :cheers2:

Can you put a switch and a drum on a 1911? I don’t know anything about guns. (You might not think at first but this is a serious question)

1911s can be converted to full auto. I had several friends in Viet-Nam that had them. Something about changing a spring? They will also use a 10 and 20 round stick magazine for a Thompson sub- machine gun. A tunnel rat told me that he used them in Nam. The 1911 Colt was a much coveted and loved versatile side arm in Viet-Nam.

Converting any pistol to "full auto" IMO is dumb. In the jungle during warfare, I could could see it as a handy sidearm in the trench's. With todays advancements in ammo capacity and ballistic ammo I see no advantage. A full auto pistol is so uncontrollable it is almost just a waste of ammo.

Let's just say, I know a "guy" and he has, and has shot one. "He" said it was is fun as hell and had a blast doing it. "He" said. The muzzle rise was crazy and the target was almost unhittable, he said. he was much more accurate with a semi auto. He said. ;)

Now that is a viable option, sub $250 price tag(way under my budget for this), 5.5lb trigger and 9mm. I see they make 12 round version which would lengthen the grip a bit, but probably not to much. I'll go and hold both versions and see what I think.

Thanks for the photo. Finally saw the maker's name (and model) in an email spam I got from that gadawful Classic Firearms. DB, what the heck is that?;)

I agree with Grizzly. So it's a a striker-fired Wonder 9? Looks Glock-ish. Is it a pocket carry gun? If so can you photo it in your front pocket?

Diamond Back 9mm in a 380 size frame. Gen4 IIRC. Glockish. Felt better in my hand than the glocks do. The grip angle was more my fit. I rapid hold up a glock and the sight picture is way off. I raise this one and the sights fit my muscle memory. That was a big plus.
I use the cheapy size 0 IWB. Its not the best but it works and comfy for my use.

For the summer months I carry a Ruger LC9S Pro in a velcro belly band, which conceals nicely under a T shirt. For all other months, I carry a full size .45. I personally don't care for 9mm, but it gets hot in Texas and the Ruger is slim and hides well under minimal clothing.
