I'm in the market for a new EDC pistol. Retiring my Sig P365 and Springfield XDS .40 as an EDC. Keep in mind I want to keep it sub-compact to be easily concealed. I have my full framed pistols which are nice in the winter because I can outside waistband carry and still keep it concealed. My XDS has been great, but the .40 cal is slowly going away and the 7 round capacity is just too outdated and with all these 15 round 9mm options out there and the advancements in 9mm ammo options out there I'm fine with 9mm. Just curious what you fellas like. :cheers2:

I like pocket carry for EDC. If you can keep it 9x19 or 9x17 and it fits in your front pocket, then you can ensure "program compliance" nearly 100% of the time. Do you have a pocket carry option?

Couldn't tell you what I recommend for any size pistola, but I would be remiss without recommending this site:

I have the Beretta Pico .380. It conceals great but shoots low. For example at about 8 yards I have to aim at the head to hit center mass of the body. I've had it for years and that is my only complaint other then the 6 round capacity.

Now, that's a pocket gun! Bet that recoil is awesome!! What pound trigger does it have? My Pico is 12lb with no let up, but I don't want a hair trigger with a pocket gun.

My Ruger SP101 .357 is awesome and my only revolver and it has a 4" barrel. That is my side arm while hunting or out in the woods go to.
I had a Ruger SP101 Match Champion 357, 4.2 inch barrel. I thought it was too heavy for EDC. I did carry it in the woods, but I sold it and got the 9mm 5 shot revolver. Much lighter, easier to carry, more power than 38 special, although no comparison to 357, it is relaible and accurate.
