Decided on the S&W Bodyguard 2.0 .380. Went through tons of reviews and the new improved version seems like it will fit my needs well. Going to replace my Beretta Pico .380 with awful sights. It is considered a pocket pistol but carrys more like a sub-compact 9mm. It will double my capacity from 6+1 to 12+1, has great accuracy right out the box, and still small enough to pocket carry or I can appendix carry in kydex holster. $399.99 retail most places and I can get on sale for $250 at times.

For the summer months I carry a Ruger LC9S Pro

I have been looking at that one or the slightly larger LCP Max but have heard they (both) are nasty little guns and they HURT recoil-wise 😭 boo hoo hoo. Plus the price point, often sold for $119-199 (both models, roughly give or take). I have not checked a big retailer like Academy, yet, just online.

Just ordered or have it in hand already?

Not in hand, picking it up soon locally. I hate the transfer process of online purchases. I will show it once it is in hand. :cheers2:

They are comfortable to me, albeit a little small for my grip. But I have the extended mag that adds about an inch to the grip. This provides better control. The pic is of my first LC9 that I now keep at my wife's tea shop. I set it up with a laser so all she has to do is point and shoot. 9mm is the right caliber for her and she likes the full grip surface area as well. You also get 2 more rounds.

Thats a great pic.

I got to shoot a buddy's DE50 at a range once. It was funny. Every other stall was 9mm and small stuff.
Pew pew, pew, then me BOOM!
the whole room jumped and every one wanted to know what cannon i just light.
You should get that same reaction with your 1847 Walker. I have one as well and love how the slow burn of the BP is more like VOOOOOOM! Everyone is like WTF?

Indoor ranges dont like BP.

Dont have any here, we just go outside
My favorite range here is outdoors as well. But that indoor range is literally walking distance from my house so sometimes it's nice to just walk there and blow off some ammo. We used to have 1000 yard range as well but some a-hole developer built a neighborhood behind it and got the city to shut it down - after probably 30-40 years in business. Cryin' shame.

Now I need to find a land claim in the desert. Our 84 acre playground is gone after 30 years of hunting, shooting, off-roading and many more good times. 😢
