(Talking to Casey) If you're not bullied at some point in life, you're just not fully developed. And if you don't eventually face your attacker (a fist to the face really is an attitude adjuster) then you're also not fully developed as a hew-mon. However, if you can get past it (if you're a cool mountain lake and not easily stirred over such trifles -- a great superhuman strength) and do nothing, you're probably even better off. You didn't get suspended from school, or you're not in jail for assault, but you can laugh about it later. Any which way, these things build tremendous character.
Bonus points if you're the bully and you get "checked". I think everyone needs that in life. I saw a young, rather nerdy short fella always saying stupid #### to people with zero consequences, probably because he never got spanked as a child. I think it's because he had no filter and I like to think he eventually got his *** whupped.
EDIT: don't be the aggressor, be
merely defending yourself. As soon as someone touches you, that's basically assault. Oh boy, we could go on and on and on on this topic...
