sick. four wheel drive? My buddies powerstroke is on 43 lbs of boost, 1100 ftlbs and 870 hp, we've murdered the 2011 supercharged mustang, dont know what to do against a 4wd launch! haha. cloud of black smoke, ear piercing turbo whistle, 38" Mickey Thompson baja claws screamin for mercy, truck makes me aroused. haha
no its not four wheel drive (yet!). I just got the truck about 2 months ago. I am just beginning with the mods. I want to get some stacks first (has no exhaust at all now after the down pipe). Then I will get some head studs before I get my chip. Then I'll get a lift and some wheels to give it the four wheel drive look. At least until I get the parts to convert it to four wheel drive.
I currently have a project S12, but my swap in the works is slapping in a 2.3T outta a murker.. hehehe.. <---BLasphemy, i know!! haha
i gotta get a truck like that when im 16^^^^^^^^
How much torque(stock)?
Not only blasphemy, a 200sx had a better powerplant than that err ahh merc "lump"
but everyones different, and if thats your taste sweet as,
now ya see if i was doing it i would hit it with a sr20de, not a det because of the insurance cost, and you could drift it with the standard sr20de, and it would give you no problems - viking engines nissan.
I work at a place where i do most of the exhaus work, soa 3 inch exhaust will cost me about 25$ in pipe.
Stock 1997 7.3 powerstroke is pushing 225hp @ 300 RPM and 425lb-ft of torque @ 2000 RPM. You can feel every bit of the torque when you have the 5speed tranny.
