UPDATES!

OK, i got the Tires in the mail a few days ago. I bolted the Bearing Hangers in and got the rear axle finally assembled.

The brakes were a bit tricky since i didnt have a welder to make a bracket for the capiler but i got a little bit creative.

And as it sits now.

almost done, i just need to make a floor pan and get the brake cable routed. i should be done with those today or tomorrow. hopefully it runs, i haven't even started the motor yet.

Problem......fuk. OK so the front wheel bearings are 5/8ths and the axle on the spindle is some metric crap 16mm. My original solution, buy 16mm bearings....but the OD on all the 16mm bearings is too large to fit in the bearign cavity of the wheel itself. fuk. So i cut off the original 16mm axles and tommorrow im going to home depot to get 2 5/8th dia. bolts and get them welded in place. That way ill keep the original bearings and everything will fit right. Anyone care to weld for me?

Lol look's like the loctite on the nitrous injector didnt hold! Anyways awsome kart! Also is that 5/16 studs holding the caliper? If it is I hope they dont bend under hard braking.

Its not that it didn't hold, i loosened it so i could do some trouble shooting work on the carb. (the injector was in the way) And yes, they're 5/16. I think they're going to bend since i have them out so far but if i bring the caliper and the disk closer to the mounting point on the chassis then i think ill be good. Plus, braking is for fags.

how long is your axle?

Its a 30"
