Haa! No explosion yet.. i still havent received this bottle of 30%nitro yet Should be tomorrow. i think i should pick up an octane booster for it? i dunno if 30% is too much.

Higher octane means thing's burn slower, not more quickly.

Nitromethane is -1000. It's cut with alcohol (+200) to control the explosion somewhat.

i rode my kart down the driveway..waited for a car to pass the entrance to the highway so i could speed test.. i really believe i can do around 60. 60-something when i start to close the gap and i either ran out of gear ,too high of RPM, the springs,and the belt starts slipping and i can really smell it. THIS THING IS AWESOME!! lol "

Does a 40 series torque converter allow more rpm or is it just for torque? idk what benefit it would give me.

So if i add 1 quart 30% nitro mix to a gallon of gas with 10% ethanol would i be fine? i remember seeing your video but i think you were on 20%

i guess i could toss in extra ethanol to dilute the nitro? or is methanol better? since i know nitro ,at least by its self, doesn't mix with gas.

oh yeah, i need to add.. the springs i ordered from NR-racing before..are actually 26pounders ,not 18's.
The 26'ers i ordered from Isky are the same strength and size just with a white stripe.

Nitro.. i'll just leave it how it is for now. Probably won't even need it once the .290 cam is installed.
