i got a little work done on it today , built the mounts for the body. i ended up deciding to go 6" wider on the body for more room inside the cart. i got a battery for it 770 cca deep cycle battery and im gonna mount it beside the engine . i also made the rear driveshaft for it today and put it in , i forgot the camera at home again but ill take it with me tomarrow . i know i got some other things done to the turd but i am too tired to remember what all i did :huh:

Dude I'm 29, there's no such thing as being too old for a go kart! I asked your age mostly because your welds show experience, I pegged your age closer to mine (or older!) with welds like that. Keep up the good work, this is one of the most entertaining build threads I've seen in a while :thumbsup:

Building a kart for the kids or nephews is an older excuse in the book. It is a great excuse for the wife and other family members. But here at DIY we know whats up. :popcorn:

sorry for the lack of pics the last couple days guys, mediacom is runnin super slow and wont let me upload any pics but the cart is still makin a lot of progress and i just picked up some stuff for it today that will make this build much much more interesting:D. and no i will not tell you what it is until this crappy computer lets me upload the pics to show you guys!

oh you guys have no idea how wild this is goin to be with the new parts. i know there have been some 4x4 gokarts built before but i gurantee noone has done what i just put on it last night! ill try to upload the pics again today and hope it works:furious2:
