hmm i think an inteercooler would not be a great idea since i'm doing a draw throught setup... meaning that the whole intercooler would be filled with atomised fuel.... not sure i want that LOL

Yeah I guess I just took it for granted you'd realise my suggestion meant you'd have to go with all the performance advantages a blow-through type intercooled conversion would give you... LOL

Yep I totally agree, but for now you really should at least consider adding some sort of (meyby a motorcycle) oil cooler after your turbo and in-line with your pump/tank. As it is now, you've basicly got nothing but the intake flow air to help dissipate all the turbos heat buildup. The oil flowing through a cars turbo has the engines cooling system to help out but you basicly got nothing here as it is.

the cooler would have to be before the turbo... because after it ,it would cause restriction and possibly flood the bearings...

i though of adding a cooler but first i think i will get this thing in working order and then decide if its worth it to add cooling... plus winter is coming and that will help a bit lol...

but adding a bigass oil cooler would be bada$$ looking thought lol

stayed after work today and fabbed up the turbo header and 90* intake

things are coming together i like that!!!

notice the placement of the fuel pump! (lock washer, locking nuts and red loctite have been used to bolt the pump there so... no it wont fall)

now i'm a little worried about the pulse line placement... i fear it will melt down from the radiant heat of the head... migh have to do some insulating work there...

OH! another thing... the impeller is moving when i crank the engine!!! LOL WEEEE this thing is gonna spool !!!

also if someone haves a small - medium sized oil cooler that collect dust at home and that is willing to sell dirt cheap i'm interested!!! i would prefer one with standard NPT outlets or kinda hose barb connection... thanks!

dont have a pic but i succesfully hooked the turbo's compressor to the intake pipe unsing a metal pipe and 2 pieces of rubber hose as connectors. looks real neat!

i also bidded on a small oil cooler off a 500 or so cc motorcycle...

tomorrow i'll try to re-install it on the cart and hook up the oil pump to the crank... then wire the hoses and fill up with oil... then gas in the tank and TEST RUN! i REALLY hope this ...thing...will work

As long as your coolers in/out ports are sized the same or larger than your oil lines, it really shouldn't cause any more restriction than having an extra foot or so of oil line. The reason I'd suggested instaling the cooler right after the turbo was to reduce the excessive oil temps your pump will most likely have to be dealing with here.

(edit)

I also think if your reservoir was mounted separately, this would help stop the thermal heat transfer your going to end up getting from your turbo to the tank with your curent mounting arrangement.
