no i only seen the small engine I think it was a 6.5 that he was originally going to put on it (looked like a 6.5 i can barely see anything in the pic with all the glare).I have little faith that a small engine like a 6.5 clone or hf engine will go anywhere with as much as that frame weighs. It's like putting a 8hp engine in my frame and hoping it moves lol

The engine is a brand new 11hp electric start honda clone. It is going to be heavy but I think it will move it without a problem. If it doesn't I have a Briggs vanguard v-twin 16hp I will put in it!!! I don't want him to end up rolling it so plan on gearing it down so it doesn't have a crazy fast top speed.

11hp is plenty of power to move that and electric start is a cool thing to have! I'm jelous, I really want a mini monster truck now!

So as usual instead of settling for good enough I have to have great. I had bought regular old go kart pedals, not good enough!! So I built custom "bigfoot" pedals. Built removable mounts so I can easily move the pedals down the road.. Planned out where and how the break master cylinder will mount. As well as put in a ton of cross supports.. But no matter how much gets done I never feel like I got enough done.... Oh well. Enjoy

Love this build! I thought of the old 80's style Big Foot (with the supersize skinny wheels) when I first started following this thread months ago.

Too bad it's not rear steer also... How fun would it be to whip some doughnuts like the big trucks do? It would be like a supersize Twirl-N-Whirl!...LOL, just joking

Awesome Job!

Man the cart looks great, but one thing is bothering me. The suspension, it looks like your running a 2 link suspension and that just won't work. Every time the boy hits something the axles are going to want to roll. To stop this you need to add 2 more tubes. If you already plan to do this or I missed something please disregard. It looks great. Just giving my 2cents.

Danny, thanks. I have realized it wants to roll. Not sure what I'm going to do about it yet. Either add another tube or weld the one tube to the brackets and turn them into swingarms.
