Cool. I just don't want to see anyone hurt or all that awesome work go to hello. Your on the right track on what to do about it so I'll just keep my mouth shut and watch this cool build.

Good eye, Denny!
Could you not turn the tube into a wishbone ? Add a riser near the frame pivot, and have that go to the top of the axle , at the original location. The original tube would now go to the bottom, on a new mount, keeping the axle from rolling back......
IDK but it sounds good in my head..... :lolgoku:

You could 3 link it pretty easy.

Just put a triangle up from the bearing brackets and run a bar back to the main frame.

A three link would just get in the way, not enough room. If it were mine I would extend the mount on the bottom 4" below the axle in the current location and 3" above the axle but angle it tward the center of the cart like the rear suspension on a GM car (upper links only wider apart) but keep the upper links on the axle almost above the lower links. Then there is no need for a panhard bar or watts link. Easy as pie and less work and still great articulation. As clear as mud right?

Spent some time working on the drivetrain. Not much room back there, I think I'm going to have to locate a shorter belt for the tc. Gunna order some parts tonight.. Rack and pinion, belt, sprockets and fittings to fab the exhaust.

#35 or #420..... opinions?? also you guys think there would be any benefit to running two chains to the axle, one on each side of the jack shaft? my brother thought it might help to reduce stress.

#420 chain, i use it, its the best! Also i hope thats not your final position for the torque converter because that belt is at a angle and will be even more when the engine is running otherwise this thing should be awesome!
