On the little lists I make at work of "to do" when I get home, more of the same. The little things that make them what they are.
Up tonight, cut the other trim pieces, file, sand... SOS pad! Shiny.
Drill drill drill, pop rivet.
The shiny parts are making this one I tell ya.
And as seen in these pics, the trick to making it look old... patina, whatever... paint first, assemble, work on it and modify it... never paint it again. (well, maybe a touch up or two) but if they look used, the more authentic charm they have.
On a side note, this one will not be sporting those 12x6x6 rear wheels. It'll have the 4.10x3.50x6 slicks. Tall & mean.
Just wait until you see the tripple air filter I've got in mind to round out the rear end of this one.
