Yesturday, I went over to my friends house to fine tune the GX200(valves/idle/linkages). Got the valves set... she
purred like a kitten... except the
intermittent poofs of white smoke. Ran her round the neighborhood a
few times, at
half throttle
still, bringing it back... no smoke(turn off...). Let it cool off... started her up... smoke

. It would only burned(s) oil for
around mid warm-up(only wisps, unless throttle was given... then a 1 time
plume of smoke... then no smoke(after warmed up)... guessing still seatin in the rings.
After awhile(2-3 hrs) I was zippin down the road when suddenly my rear locks up briefly!!!... then continues to go... but w/ a dragging feeling.

I bring her back to the bay and inspect WTF happened... I roll the frame forward and notice the
driven JS was not rolling stationary... but actually rollin in a circular motion(
NOT the motion intended, mind you!). I release the chain/belt/nut/driven, and find that the outside bearing was shot/gone, for the JS!

Tomorrow I head to the bearing place and replace it(gonna try to find cylinder bearings vs the ball bearing ones that came stock w/ the TAV2). Gonna have to break off the seized on, race from the last bearings(hopefully not 'too' hard to get off).
Lastnite, I ordered new springs for the driver(found one was bent, probably from the Christmas incident, causing the 'clinging' sound(you can hear it on the video). Also had to order a new 'C' clamp for the end of the TAV JS... the one that prevents the JS from sliding through. Hoping they'll be here sometime this week(ordered from BMI).
...PS- This vid was taken before I went and 'tuned' up the motor(and evidently before the driven bearing took a dump...)
Miku vs Lo-T...
