just go mad max on it, Bored stroked and blown Big block chevy with turbo 350 tranny with shift kit. 3000 stall torque converter to a dual NP205 transfer cases and 2.5 ton rockwell axles with 5:13 gears running 66" rice n cane tractor tires.

though of some more dual raidators in rear of truck with a QUAD of tranny coolers. All on a Chevy Long box extended cab frame with custom exco cage and interior will not use any box or cab from the truck.

I think my dream street-legal vehicle would be a 77-79 Caddy Coupe DeVille, lightened as much as possible (stock, it was almost 1000 lbs lighter than the year before.) , and then swapping the 368/425 cu.in. motor for a mildly modified* 472/500 Caddy motor (same basic block- easy to swap in), and keep it as stock looking as possible. Throw a shift-kit in the TH400, and go hunting for unsuspecting stoplight dwellers.

By no means the fastest or coolest, but we all don't want to marry the same woman, either.


*Low-rise aluminum intake/ Q-Jet/ Headers and dual exhaust with X-pipe crossover. These motors are low-rpm choked smog motors, designed to move granny around to the golf resort and spin an A/C compressor, but with a few mods they put out respectable #'s below 4500 rpm.
