[/COLOR]I have a question: has anyone ever ACTUALLY just climbed in a sleeping bag for the night?

If not....do. It's pretty cool, and not that dangerous.

Last summer me and a buddy stayed the night at an old no longer used fire lookout on top of a mountain. At 6500 feet, it's gets pretty cold, but the main issue is that the wind blows at least 30 mph all night. We slept on the deck in sleeping bags, but I always thought i would roll over, fall off the very narrow deck, and tumble down the 1/4 mile of rockslide below it. Luckily I didn't

Well, I had a plan last night. A sleeping bag and a pillow. Sammy had other plans so I spent half the night fighting him for the larger share of that pillow.

He is one big, stubborn cat!

Funs over now anyway, rain is returning, and I don't feel like pitching a tent.

Sammy needs his own pillow is what he's saying. You made him a nice bed, now go get your own.

Here's what's funny: in the tent, I brought in an EXTRA pillow!

He didn't want anything to do with it, he had to snuggle with me. Sammy came in and had to do the old lap dance.

What can I say? Sammy loves Daddy, and I have "animal magnetism!"

I mean....that darn rat is starting to snuggle with me... ( not to mention the snakes!)

Ok poboy mr woodsmith man... I need to make a square hole through a piece of walnut... well, rectangular. It can be either with the grain, or slightly cattywompus to the grain.

Now ofcourse I would start by drilling some holes, but to make it square, would a borach of sorts work well on wood?

The holes I need is about 1/2in x 1 3/16 by about 4in deep.

Either that or I plane the walnut down and make 2 halves... but what fun would that be? The grain wouldnt match up!

Go buy a mortising bit...( they go in a mortiser, a woodwooking supply store will know....or Gewgal!)

Anyway, you can take the chisel part and marry it the pointed rod of an air hammer: ( it's what we did to make 100 square holes in solid oak in a hurry!)

Or just buy a dammmned wordworking chisel!!!!

Crap....if you have a REAL wordworking question, check back.

Well I just found out that the previous owner of the Blaster has not done anything to get the title to us. Apparently they also never transferred the title over to themselves when they bought it from the dealer over a decade ago. So now I have no idea what to do at this point.

So went to Gander over the weekend because I needed a new reel for my fishing pole. Since they are liquidating everything until August for the new company to take over this fall, most things are on sale. However, I forgot that most places mark everything up before putting it on sale. One of the reels I was looking at (Abu Garcia Revo S) online and other stores $79-90, Gander Mountain had it marked up to $119 before the 20% discount. So don't bother shopping there until after the new company takes over this fall.

Might have chosen to take some time off for awhile and/or is on a more Poboy friendly place to vent.

Something must've happened cause I thought it was just a 10 day, or at least that's what Landuse said.

But after Doug's last comment I'm not entirely surprised that was the decision made.

Short memory?

WAY after landuse let you all know that poboy is permanently banned... you posted in that very threat you refer to
Oh, and just so that everybody is aware of it.....Poboy is now on a permanent holiday. I will miss his off beat humor
May I quote YOU from there?:
Permanently banned means your off of here for good. I'm not sure if Robert bans just the username or if he does an IP ban. IP ban means your IP address is banned from here so you cannot create a new account to bypass it.

So yeah, I'm surprised, that you are surprised about not being surprised.... surprisingly ;)
