Not my picture, just the first that came up on google. You can see where the bracket goes on teh "frame" behind the bumper thing. This is where the unfortunate event occurred.

If I ever build a bumper for this, Ill use a set of D rings, or clevis hooks.
I do plan on building a set of beefy bumpers for my xj and Ill used D rings there.
I thought if I could get a piece of metal bent into a U that the tow hooks could fit in then I could bolt them with the hooks up. Im not sure if any place around here can bend a piece that sharp. I supose an L shape would work...
