Not my picture, just the first that came up on google. You can see where the bracket goes on teh "frame" behind the bumper thing. This is where the unfortunate event occurred. :surrender:

If I ever build a bumper for this, Ill use a set of D rings, or clevis hooks.
I do plan on building a set of beefy bumpers for my xj and Ill used D rings there.

I thought if I could get a piece of metal bent into a U that the tow hooks could fit in then I could bolt them with the hooks up. Im not sure if any place around here can bend a piece that sharp. I supose an L shape would work...

This is probably one of my worst days on the job. So a few weeks ago, I got my fertilizer and herbicide licenses for my jon

Dang it...hit post and not the exit button on my phone. Anyway was trying to say that I got my licenses for my job and was spraying a property today. Well it took me my whole shift to do it rather than 6 hours to do it. So my boss is p'oed about that. Then I guess and didn't even realize it, but I ran over a gutter drain. So now we have to replace that. May end up being chewed out for that on Tuesday and maybe canned.

Went to the docs today. Said what they keep saying: " It's looking better, but there's still definitely something there."

I have some leftover antibiotics and he asked me how much. I guessed at 2 weeks. Now I ALWAYS finish my rounds of antibiotics, but I had been loaded up on them for nearly 3 weeks, and the drug fact sheet said chronic diarrhea was a serious condition and could develop into a life ending condition. A call to the doc confirmed I should discontinue use.

I went to the lab for urine and a half dozen vials of blood. One of the things that I'm being tested for is hepatitis. I thought: YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME! I spent 10 days in the hospital, they ran 50 blood tests, AND DIDN'T CHECK FOR THAT??????

Anyway, they're going to check a lot of things and I'm supposed to see a dentist next week. (He better be an oral surgeon). Awhile back I had 1/2 my teeth pulled, and did 20 hyperbaric treatments and still didn't heal well. Several dentists have declined to touch me.

Tooth loss is one thing, having your mouth fried , killing every thing another.

I'm trying to quit smoking. Meanwhile, I have a vape machine that I'm really starting to like. I've already cut my smoking of tobacco in half.

Well, it just quit a little while ago. They have burners in them that fry out occasionally..( Actually...pretty quickly). No big deal really, they're only $5 and easy to change)...but I had JUST refilled that chamber with syrup, and that makes it messy and wastses money. Fortunately, I hooked it up to my cell charger and it started working, so...it's just a dead battery.

A previous co-worker had a flexor that smelled a lot like pancakes with syrup. Them toy have the many flavors of cotton candy. One thing I hate about those vapers is, the vape really leaves a nasty film on car windows and sucks to clean off. The guy would vape between jobs and after a well I world have to clean the windows and windshield from that. But I'd rather be around that than regular cigarettes.

The heck is a flexor??? I type vaper and it changes to that??? Man I hate autocorrect.

Yeah, the guy at the vape shop hits something crazy and fills the whole store with "smoke".... I got home and smelled that for a few hours.

I don't get it...he hits this , and when he exhales, it looks like an old west locamotive.

No idea. Most places now sell it anyway so kind of worthless.

There is ONE part of your post that is absolutely true. "No idea."

Yeah, as always, talk about what you know ......or shut yo pie hole ....pffft pppft booung mama jajama...................( drop the mic!)

Vaping is very different from e-cigs.

How do we live in a world where there is a thing called a vape shop?

For several reasons:
First off; vaping is better for you than sucking on a burning Cancer stick.

More importantly, how or why do we live in a world with medical marijuana, that also encourages sedentary parasitic actions.... While pressing the thumb down on average hard working man.

Just smoke dope and sponge off the Gov.....( and it's obviously not just pot!)

Listen up...DON'T KID YOUR YOURSELF, the US GOV spends WAY MORE TIME AND MONEY ...coddling the dregs of Society than helping the hard worki ng common man with HIS day to day.
Taxation withou REPRISENTATIN

I'll wait until more independent studies come out on e cigs and vape. Still trust neither over true cigs.

UMmmmmmm...Addict in denial here....Ummmn...I'm skeered to try something that ( simply by pure logic, is better than inhaling smoke!) More people die in fires from smoke inhalation than burns.

But, anyway... You would rather suck on a proven Cancer starter, than take a route that ANYONE with half a brain can see is better.

We're not in the habit of endorsing bad and life ending behavior here......nuff said!:mad2:

I don't do any of that crap, because I've seem what it'll do to someone's health. I don't drink because I can't stand the smell and I don't know how I'll react to it, nor do I know if my temper will go out of control. I'm not a smoker, so I see no point in vaping or trying it, that's my point. And I'm saying I'd rather see independent studies on the affects of vaping and e-cigs rather than go by what conflicting data says right now. Sure they don't have the chemicals cigs have, but what's the long term affects of the stuff in them? That's the point I'm trying to make. I'm not scared, because I'm not going to do that stuff.

(I don't THINK it's supposed to rain...):lolgoku:

---------- Post added at 07:18 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:27 PM ----------

I have a question: has anyone ever ACTUALLY just climbed in a sleeping bag for the night?

If not....do. It's pretty cool, and not that dangerous.

When I was younger, I use to sleep out on the deck. There was a bench built on and I would out a few blankets to act as a mattress, then put a sleeping bag on it. Was fun, but I prefer sleeping in the woods. Traffic sucks and I like peace and quiet.
