Got some more nasty weather headed in tonight....heard rumors of damage in the area from tornadoes to the west early this morning ...and confirmed sitings of rope tornadoes touching down....

BTW: I just noticed that the shed that got flooded didn't get that way just from under the door....but a section of corrugated tin is missing....gotta be in the neighbors back yard... But....I wasn't counting on heavy rain flooding that shed again without high cross winds.....

I've spent the last month in bed 20 hours a day and barely did anything when I was up. Flu/ pneumonia.

Feeling better now, but I tried to do too much yesterday after all that inactivity, and now I'm sore all over.

Well....thought it was going to be a good day. A woman called with a nice lawnmower that has a blown engine. I have a running (well it least it was last year) that'll pop right on.

It's probably around 10-15 miles away max. Before I get there my new (to me) truck overheated to a hair of redline. I'm afraid it's a head gasket. Going to take it to a place tomorrow to confirm.

On the whole trying to get healthy front, I was told that I would be out of the hospital two to three days after surgery, with another two to three weeks at home before going back to work. Three and a half weeks later, I've been discharged a couple of times only to be readmitted due to complications. I'm finally starting to feel better, but I've still got a couple of weeks to go inpatient in a rehab facility so they can keep an eye on the wound, with surgury down the road to finally fix it. Yuck!!!!

Had to have a colon resection. Basically, they took out the first 1/3 of my large intestine because it was distended and about to burst. From what I've been told it would have made a burst appendix look tame.

I didn't say much about it before (I did mention it though) because I didn't expect to be down this long or hard. The latest issue is that the doggone wound refuses to close up. GRRR!!!!!!!!

Yeah....I must have been down sick (or banned) at the time. Of course, my memory is terrible these days, but last I remembered was you were still in diagnostic stage.

Well....get better soon....(and that wound would have already healed if you'd have stayed in bed instead of chasing nurses all day!)

Yikes I thought I had it bad with a knee surgery...hope you have a speedy recovery mate!
