I'm a bit confused; is the white car now blue or is it a totally different car?

Totally different car, mine has never had a respray. Still in original marine blue.

I really like the alloys, but I need to raise the car, as it rides hard and catches on speed bumps and the driveway, and then they might look too small.
I hope to have a play with either them or the dash today. Need to remove some bodge job horn and tach, see how I can mount a radio, wire the gauges, and a few other bits.

Really like her, just a few tweaks to be done. I may get some chrome goodies for under the hood too.

Oh and also, I need to get rid of the chavvy exhaust. It sounds nice, but too loud for every day usage. Want to sell it and get something more subtle and maybe more retro.

Here are some pics, sorry been away for a few days.

Today I recieved a VDO rev gauge and installed it. Also wired up the clock and oil pressure gauge bar the sender, and ripped out a load of un neccesary wiring.

I think I need a new battery which sucks. was last replaced nov. 2009, but it either has something draining it or it is a crap battery. Yesterday I jumped it- i left the heated rear window on. Today the battery was flat again. I am going to charge overnight, then leave it till I next do anything with the car, and see if it has held its charge.

Plan to ring up the local scrap yard. I want to find an oil pressure sensor, and possibly a 13" wheel with a 50mm side wall to use as a spare. The spare I have has a 75mm sidewall, and I don't want to be paying good money for tires for a spare!

OH and if anyone wants a phone with a good camera- I have to say that these HTC ones aren't bad!

I found a bloke selling a seat with the same material. I hope to make one good drivers seat from my driver and passanger, then install his passanger seat. £25 he wants for it, seems fairly reasonable, considering 1m x 1.5m of upholstery material is about £40!

I remember being told that since Germans drive on the right side of the road Lhd is the right way to drive because they invented the first traffic control system? I'm not too sure how accurate this is though, he was one of those guys who tends to spew BS.

Hmm, come to think of it, I have driven an old Farmall tractor with left hand shift. You don't shift a tractor on the fly, though.

That could encourage some very bad driving habits, shift with your left, while operating the bucket, all while driving with your knees.

I can't think of a situation where you need to shift, turn the wheel, and move the bucket at the same time, though.
