1st is close to what I would do with the 6 wheel setup (just swap the seat for the front facing bench seat).
2nd is what I will do if I go standard 4 wheel setup (Also swap the bucket seat for the bench seat), differentce would be rear facing.
Pro of the 6 wheel is obvious, 4 wheel is way shorter/simpler. I want to emphasise the shorter too, I think that may be important on backwoods trails with fallen trees/tight turns. But, I know I will have to cross some shallow rivers with slick rocks, so the 4 wheel would be better in that aspect. Also, I can haul my kids longer and safer with the cage setup on the 6 wheel. Also, 6 wheel would be way better in sand/snow.
Pro of the 4 wheel is less time, less money, better rear suspension, lower height, easier to store, better in small areas, less tire wear from proper Ackerman steering (one of the axles on the 6 wheel setup would drag a little). Way better turning radius as well. More space in the garage because its smaller footprint. Less parts to fail/get messed up.
Which do you think I should do? Im picking up the welding again. Fixed a messed up measurement on the roof yesterday.
