Did it the safe way, removed the valve core, hit with high psi air gun, seat bead, insert valve core, top off with PSI, went smoother than I expected. Tires grew about 2" after inflation, they ride at 22.25" max O.D.

Excellent, wish they were all that simple. Curious: how much psi can you get out of that air nozzle, and from what source?
Thanks! I was going to do the first route, but you made me think twice, a risk with no real benefit without just using air first. I have this compressor, and just cranked it all the way up. No issues at all, super simple. Obviously I didn't let the whole tire get too high in PSI, but enough air goes in that it seated the bead super quick. They have a 20psi max rating, I filled them to 19.5, but will probably go lower once I drive this thing.

From what I've seen others do, it's not necessarily the psi in the tank, but rather the volume of cu. ft. of air you can rush out of the nozzle all at once that'll seat a bead with air alone.

She's wide baby! Very happy with this! Im having visions of the 670cc pinned in the dunes, seeing Macho Man Randy Savage, Rick Flare, and Metalica escorting me to the after life.....

Prepping A arms for lower shock supports. Pivot points have become canted from all the welding. I cut relief cuts, bent to position, put a dowel to hold, then welded back up.

As stated earlier, definitely doing the single axle, but still flirting with the 3rd seat idea. Rear facing would be smartest.

Something like this is in my mind. Engine would be under-ish the 3rd seat. Essentially a mini bed with a seat bolted in. The lower red line is the rear swing arm and the black is the rear shocks. I already have them and they are big, 24" long or so. I probably wouldnt do a cage on the back. After looking at the photos, the rear seat would actually direct air down towards the engibe, so thats nice.

I sold and serviced golf karts. They had rear facing rear seats. You’d be surprised at the number of people who get sick moving forward while looking back. I am one of them. Never got motion sick in my life but put me backwards on a golf kart got a tuff time keeping things down.

Yea, that is a good reminder. I think the smartest thing would be to not do it, but to build the frame out as a "future" optional addition. Realistically the only people riding back there would be my kids, and this would all be low low speed, on flat mountain trails. Just something to run the kids from our cabin to my grandmothers, and back. Possibly side facing jump seats like the old FJ40s had. I am getting a little "burnt out" on the front end as I have been working on it forever, so I am thinking of pausing to focus on the rear. The front just needs Tie rods, rack and pinion, steering shaft/wheel, and the little arm on the spindles that the tie rods hook up to. I'll just do some something close to the red in the above pic, and utilize the rear for storage/moving stuff. Where our Cabin is at in Idaho, its legal to ride UTVs on the street, so long as you are following standard driving rules. I am going to be doing some framing at our cabin this August, so I am including the possibility that I will need to haul lumber/groceries thirty-ish miles from town. Having cargo loading capacity will be used more often than a third seat.

Don't forget a properly positioned footrest for the backwardees, even if it means more length to the frame................and some side grabrails.
Yup, after I posted the photo I just thought that that same thing. I'll probably just hold off and focus on getting her running :) Build out the frame as an optional add-on in the future.

3 things that cause my build to go slower: My kids (this is Monty), a mini bbq smoker im building (green thing is the firebox), and a house remodel. But my one cut/weld per day is going good for the buggy.
