I don't know why tbh..

get a proper gear ratio installed and you'll have a kart with a ton of fun to be had.

you couldn't go 70mph anyways.. not with a predator 212
(well not without spending round about $2000 on mods that is)

Yup, just go have some fun

You don't need to go 70MPH
…up to ~35MPH on a kart is a blast :2guns:
(any more than that & it starts getting kinda nuts) :smiley_omg:

Also, keep in mind, that Manco probably didn't design that kart to handle anywhere near 70 MPH
...or the bearings
...or the tires etc. :cheers2:

I'm currently running bushings and eventually I'm going to upgrade to some racing bearings.

well by looking at the conrod and cam.. how else?
Sorry Austin, may I ask how old you are?
You sound closer to twelve than fourteen
and I think you're lacking some kart basics.

Both of which is perfectly fine of course,
I just want to get an idea where we would want to start with explanations ;)

I wasn't talking about the conrod cam question..

it was more the bearings that had me giggle...
"racing bearings" as if :D
it's misread.. "hardened race" or "deep groove race" bearings there are..
but those have a specially treated bearing races.. they're not specific "racing" bearings

and while ball bearings certainly come in all sorts of qualities
(some of which are better suited for motorsport use than others)
racing bearings is at best a marketing gag from a reseller (hopefully for high quality versions else I'd call it fraud).. at worst a misconception ;)

Nevermind.. back to topic

Wait, do you want an exhaust header? 'Cause you've got a muffler right there.

And BTW, that engine is bone stock. No performance parts whatsoever.

Not for the flat head I'm getting a predator 6.5 hemi and i need a exhaust adapter that goes from a 1" ID to a 4" ID so I can put this homemade custom exhaust on it. If you look at where I have the pics of my go-kart you will see the exhaust that will be on it. But I'll put a pic below anyways so you can see.
